Argentine giants Boca Juniors linked with Atlético Mineiro’s Ronaldinho



Two-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho is being eyed up by Argentine giants Boca Juniors.

The Atlético Mineiro playmaker has struggled for form since helping the Brazilian club win the Copa Libertadores last year and a move away has been speculated for some time.

News of a possible transfer to Argentina was broken on Argentine television and it is believed the Buenos Aires club want Ronaldinho to replace Juan Román Riquelme, who left the club last week to join Argentinos Juniors.

The Standard reported news regarding the former Barcelona legend and it is widely believed a change of scenery could benefit the former Brazil national team player.

Ronaldinho has only found the net once in 2014, and even that was from the penalty spot. His form has dramatically decreased compared to a successful 2013 and even in last night’s Recopa Sudamerica he was substituted to show Atlético don’t depend on his wizardry anymore.

The Brazilian was linked with a move to Turkish side Beşiktaş at the start of the year but the transfer failed to materalise and after a two-year spell, it now seems he is finally set to leave Galo.

Dit gerucht heb ik in het verleden al vaker gelezen, maar het lijkt mij niet te gaan gebeuren. De salarissen in Brazilië zijn veel hoger dan in Argentinië, en indien Ronaldinho bij Atletico MG vertrekt zie ik hem eerder na een andere Braziliaanse club gaan.

Boca speelt vannacht de Copa Argentina wedstrijd tegen Huracan. De vermoedelijke opstelling van Boca:

Possible starters: Agustín Orion; Hernán Grana, Daniel Díaz, Juan Forlín, Emanuel Insúa; Gonzalo Castellani, Fernando Gago, Cristian Erbes, Federico Carrizo; Jonathan Calleri; Emmanuel Gigliotti.

Gezien deze opstelling lijkt Boca deze wedstrijd dus heel serieus te nemen.

River Plate heeft aangegeven dat Teofilo Gutierrez de club gaat verlaten. Ook lijkt Carbonero te vertrekken.

Scocco wordt wederom gelinkt aan River, en ook is er nog steeds belangstelling voor Albertengo. Persoonlijk zie ik Albertengo liever komen dan Scocco.

Cavenaghi zal de eerste 2 maanden van het seizoen niet beschikbaar zijn vanwege een blessure. De situatie van Trezeguet is ook niet veranderd, en hij mag vertrekken. Ook traint hij nog steeds niet mee met de groep.

Eder Balanta gaat voor 99% zeker nog minimaal 1 seizoen bij River blijven.
